Mental Health at Sea is a non-clinical self-help, skills and signposting app for seafarers, developed by Anindya Banerjee. This policy explains how the app handles information.
Information we collect
None. The app does not collect, transmit or share any personal information or usage data of any kind. The journal, the workload card and the two-column worksheet are stored only on your own phone, in the app's private storage; they are never sent anywhere, are not analysed, and can be deleted from inside the app at any time. Uninstalling the app deletes them.
Network access
The app requires no internet connection and makes no network requests. All content, the cards, breathing patterns, tools and help-line details, is bundled inside the app and works entirely offline. Where the app quotes a web address it does so as text only; nothing is fetched.
Accounts, adverts and analytics
The app contains no user accounts, no advertising, no analytics and no third party services.
Permissions
The app requests no special permissions.
Children
The app is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be published at the same address and the last updated date revised.
